PT SMI to Finance Riau Tenayan Power Plant Project

PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (“PT SMI”) has agreed financing facility to PT PLN (Persero) (“PLN”) to develop Riau Tenayan power plant with a capacity of 2×110 MW. The signing of the agreement was held in Jakarta (12/11). President Director of PT SMI Emma Sri Martini and CEO of PLN Soyfan Basir attended the signing ceremony. PT SMI will provide Rp 400 billion with a tenor of 10 years. This credit is part of a syndicate of eight financial institutions with total Rp2.25 trillion. Riau Tenayan power plant project is one of the Fast Track program’s first phase. The government has guaranteed this project with a Letter of Guarantee.
