Overcoming the Clean Water Crisis, PT SMI Builds Drilled Wells in NTT

For around 23 years, residents of Humusu Wini Village, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province have had difficulty getting clean water.

To help solve this problem, PT SMI as the Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance through the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program together with the Bantu Indonesia Bersama Foundation (YBIB), provided assistance in the form of building solar-powered drilled well facilities.

This facility was inaugurated and attended by the Regent of North Central Timor - Juandi David, the Regent of North Insana - Kristanto Akoit, PT SMI's TJSL Team - Muhamad Sapuri, and YBIB Representatives.

It is hoped that the solar-powered drilled well facility program in Humusu Village will be a solution for local communities who previously had to walk long distances to get clean water.
