PT SMI Supports the Provision of Public Transportation Services

PT SMI continues to play an active role in accelerating development in Indonesia, one of which is by supporting the provision of crossing transportation services for the community. Through the Consulting Services Division, PT SMI acts as a Financial Advisor for PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), in the acquisition transaction of PT Jembatan Nusantara, which is the second largest ferry company in Indonesia.

The acquisition with a transaction value of more than IDR 1 trillion is an important milestone for PT ASDP to strengthen its position as a BUMN to become a leading shipping company in Indonesia. In addition, this acquisition is also expected to strengthen the role of the government through SOEs in providing optimal shipping transportation and make SOEs the leading and host in their own country in the shipping industry.
