Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between PT SMI and UOB Limited

On Wednesday, March 21, 2018, PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) and United Overseas Bank Limited signed a cooperation agreement to support accelerated development of various infrastructure projects in Indonesia. The two sides will collaborate in supporting the financing of Indonesia's infrastructure projects and are not limited to syndicated loans and mezzanine financing. PT SMI will support and cooperate with UOB in project preparation activities and Indonesia infrastructure consulting services within the scope and is not limited to Government Partnership projects with Business Entities (KPBU). In order to meet Indonesia's infrastructure development funding needs, the two sides will collaborate on equity investment and infrastructure fund management, particularly in developing various financing tools including but not limited to the identification of credible international investors (such as sovereign wealth funds / pension funds). This cooperation is one reflection of the positive synergy of PT SMI in building the country through the development of sustainable and equitable infrastructure.
