Strategic Collaboration of PT SMI, DJPK Kemenkeu, and ITB to Increase the Impact of Fiscal Decentralization Policy in Indonesia

PT SMI collaborated with the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK), Ministry of Finance and several faculties of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement on Increasing the Impact of Fiscal Decentralization Policy in Indonesia carried out by:

  • Director of Public Financing & Project Development of PT SMI - Faaris Pranawa
  • Secretary of DJPK, Ministry of Finance - Ludiro
  • Dean of the School of Business and Management ITB - Ignatius Pulung Nurprasetio Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology ITB - Brian Yuliarto
  • Dean of the School of Architecture, Planning, & Development ITB Sri Maryati
  • Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace ITB - Tatacipta Dirgantara

Also attended by:

  • Director General of Fiscal Balance, Ministry of Finance - Luky Alfirman
  • President Director of PT SMI - Reynaldi Hermansjah

This collaboration aims to:

  • Increase the impact of fiscal decentralization policy.
  • Increase the implementation of creative financing schemes for regional infrastructure.
  • Facilitating increased cooperation between the Regional Government, local University academics, and Financing Institutions to accelerate regional infrastructure development.
  • Formulating a sustainable ecosystem for financing regional infrastructure projects.

The Triple Helix Concept in Innovative Development

The collaboration between PT SMI, DJPK Kemenkeu, and ITB is a real manifestation of the Triple Helix concept, namely a combination of the strengths of government, industry, and academics to present creative financing solutions that are expected to accelerate regional infrastructure development, thereby improving community welfare and Indonesia's progress.
