BWA-PT SMI Distributes Oxygen Cylinders for Ambulance Community

The availability of a free ambulance that is always ready to help the community is very much needed. The presence of an ambulance community that provides free ambulance services is a breath of fresh air for the community at a time when the cost of renting an ambulance from the hospital is very expensive.

This free health facility in the form of an ambulance has grown a lot in the community, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic to date. Unfortunately, many free ambulances don't have oxygen cylinder facilities that are needed especially by Covid-19 patients.

BWA Waqf Innovation with the Humanitarian Alms program and BWA Fighting Covid-19 Strengthen Indonesia in synergy with PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (PT SMI) trying to provide oxygen cylinders for the ambulance community for free. PT SMI fully supports by providing 40 oxygen cylinders for the success of this free oxygen cylinder assistance program for ambulances.

"We are targeting 40 units of oxygen cylinders which we will provide free of charge to 40 ambulance units who are members of the ambulance community in Jabodetabek which we have previously recorded," said Agus Niam as the person in charge of the BWA Fight Covid-19 program in a release received by Republika.co id , Friday (29/10).

Agus Niam added, this oxygen cylinder assistance was given to the free ambulance community due to the high mobility in serving the demand for ambulance cars, especially for people exposed to Covid-19.

Furthermore, BWA Innovation Waqf will again synergize with PT SMI to distribute 27 free oxygen cylinders from a target of 40 free oxygen cylinders for 40 community ambulance providers. PT SMI will continue to participate in the success of the government's program in tackling the Covid-19 pandemic by continuing to provide assistance.

"Hopefully the pandemic will pass quickly and the community who received the free oxygen cylinder assistance can be more enthusiastic in serving the people who need a free ambulance, especially when it is urgently needed," said Ramona Harimurti as Corporate Secretary of PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero).
