PT SMI has signed a financing agreement with PT Gobel International (GI)

PT SMI has signed a financing agreement with PT Gobel International (GI) for the development of the Proving Ground project or Roadworthy Testing Center and Motor Vehicle Certification (BPLJSKB) in Bekasi City, West Java Province, on Monday (11/12).

The signing of the agreement was carried out by the Director of Financing & Investment of PT SMI - Sylvi J. Gani and the President Director of PT GI - Hiramsyah S. Thaib.

Through the Al-Musyarakah Sharia Financing facility with the Promoter Financing scheme, PT SMI also provides business capital support of IDR 235.52 billion to the Indonesia International Automotive Proving Ground (IIAPG) consortium as a subsidiary of PT GI and developer of BPLJSKB.

Through this financing, PT SMI as the Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance which encourages national sustainable development will play a role in achieving the Net Zero Emission (NZE) target in 2060. It is hoped that this BPLJSKB facility can increase the standardization of vehicles produced and marketed in Indonesia to be safe, comfortable and environmentally friendly.
