PT SMI Participates in FGD with the topic of Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) in Indonesia

The Indonesian Ministry of Finance and Asian Development Bank again held the 4th Focus Group Discussion (FGD) in the G20 series with the topic Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) in Indonesia, on 5-6 October 2022. This FGD was held to prepare the ETM Country Platform towards the G20 Leaders' Summit in November.

PT SMI's Director of Operations & Finance - Darwin T. Djajawinata, participated in this 4th FGD to discuss Indonesia's commitment to addressing climate change, as well as PT SMI's role as Country Platform Manager on the ETM Country Platform. In the FGD Darwin T. Djajawinata said, "The Indonesian government aims to initiate a mechanism that focuses on energy transition, or what is referred to as the Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM). The ETM itself will carry out a transformation in the electricity sector so as to achieve the target of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) or net-zero emissions."
