PT SMI's Active Role in Supporting the Green Economy in Indonesia

As a Special Mission Vehicle (SMV) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia whose role is to support national development, PT SMI plays an active role in developing a green economy in Indonesia through innovative financing for development projects that are categorized as green.

This was also explained by the President Director of PT SMI - Edwin Syahruzad at the Kompas 100 CEO Forum activity series, namely the CEO Live Series (23/11) which explained how strategies to support a green economy in Indonesia through the application of Environmental, Social, and Governance principles (“ESG”) in any financing provided, including all operational activities of the company.

In line with this, PT SMI was also officially appointed by the Government of Indonesia to become the Indonesia Energy Transition Mechanism (ETM) Country Platform Manager at the G20 event last November, to help accelerate a fair and affordable energy transition in Indonesia from fossil fuels to more sustainable energy. green and environmentally friendly.
