PT SMI Supports Health Improvement in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency
New and Renewable Energy (NRE) is one sector that has a strategic role in accelerating the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia. For this role, the government targets to increase the NRE mix by 23% in 2025.
In support of the government's commitment, PT SMI together with the British Embassy through the MENTARI program (Towards Indonesia's Low Carbon Energy Transition) established a synergy to support the financing of projects in the NRE sector whose commitment was signed on Thursday (1/9) in Bali.
This collaboration is realized in the form of distributing funds from MENTARI to PT SMI worth IDR 47.5 billion through the SDG Indonesia One (SIO) platform.
