PT SMI Supports Development of PTLM Bayang Nyalo 3x2 MW

PT SMI, represented by the Operation & Finance Director and Project Development & Advisory Director - Darwin T. Djajawinata, together with the President Director of PT Bayang Nyalo Hidro - Soma Ariyaka, signed a financing agreement for the construction of the Bayang Nyalo Mini-hydro Power Plant (PLTM) Project with a capacity of 3x2 MW in the Regency South Coast, West Sumatra. The signing activity was carried out directly in Jakarta (10/12).

The PLTM project which costs an investment of IDR 207 billion is located in West Sumatra, after previously PT SMI also had a project portfolio in the same location, namely PLTM Lubuk Gadang 8 MW and PLTM Sako 6 MW.

With the PLTM Bayang Nyalo, it is hoped that it will provide the following benefits:

1. Encouraging environmentally friendly energy production
2. Contribute to energy saving
3. Reducing the use of fuel that has an impact on air pollution
4. Realizing the government's target of achieving 23% of Indonesia's renewable energy mix by 2025.
